At the Center for Special Therapies "Logo & Ergo Theravein", based in Ampelokipou Attica, there are Social Skills Groups that aim to develop the communication, social and emotional areas of children. These groups are designed to help children strengthen their social skills, develop positive attitudes and adopt healthy ways of thinking.

Goals of Social Skills Groups
The groups focus on cultivating important skills that help children to:

Improve Communication: Through activities and games, children learn how to express their thoughts and feelings clearly and confidently.
Develop Social Relationships: Groups offer a safe environment where children can practice building friendships and working together as a team.
Manage Emotions: The sessions help children to recognize and manage their emotions in a healthy way, developing emotional intelligence.
Reinforce Positive Behaviors: Through structured activities, positive social behaviors such as cooperation, patience and acceptance of others are encouraged.

Structure and Function
Social skills groups work in small, homogenous groups, allowing for a personalized approach and ongoing support for children. The programs are designed based on the age and needs of each child, while the activities are adapted according to their level of development. Through play, conversation and collaboration, children learn to communicate better and develop social skills that will be useful throughout their lives.

Why Choose Our Teams?
Participating in our centre's Social Skills Groups offers children a unique opportunity to develop skills that will help them fit in socially, increase their confidence and build healthy relationships with their peers. Our specialist therapists have many years of experience and offer guidance and support throughout the programme.
