At the Center for Special Therapies "Logo & Ergo Therapeuin", based in Ampelokipis Attica, we use specialized methods and reliable assessment tools for the accurate diagnosis and holistic approach of children and adults with developmental disorders, learning difficulties and communication problems. Each method we apply is selected based on the needs of each individual, providing a personalized and effective intervention.

Methods and Evaluation Tools

  • 1. Sensory Integration (S.I.)
    The Sensory Integration method helps children who have difficulties managing sensory stimuli (such as hearing, touch, movement) to understand and react appropriately to their environment. This approach is ideal for children with autism spectrum disorders, ADHD and other developmental disorders.
  • 2. OTP (Method of Muscomotor Activities of the Joints)
    This method focuses on improving joint movement and mouth function, helping children with speech and language problems to develop better articulation and oral muscle mobility.
  • 3. PECS (Signal Communication System)
    PECS is a system that uses pictures and symbols to help children communicate. It is especially useful for children with autism and other communication disorders, as it provides them with a non-verbal way of expressing their needs.
  • 4. Makaton (Communication System Using Symbols)
    Makaton is a combinational communication system that uses words, gestures and symbols, and enhances language development. It is suitable for people with communication problems and delays in the development of speech.
  • 5. TEACCH (Education of Children with Autism and Communication Disorders)
    The TEACCH method is based on structured activities that help children with autism develop skills at an educational and everyday level, promoting their autonomy.
  • 6. PAIS (Development Trial)
    The PAIS is a developmental test that assesses children's motor, language and cognitive abilities, giving a complete picture of their development.
  • 7. Logometer (Detection of Language Difficulties)
    The logometer is a tool used to detect language difficulties, giving specialists important data for the development of intervention programs.
  • 8. First Test (School Readiness Test)

  • 13. Developmental Test of Visual Perception
    This test assesses children's visual perception and detects difficulties that may affect their performance in everyday activities and at school.
  • 14. Raven Test (Psychometric Tool of General Intelligence)
    The Raven Test is a tool that measures the general intelligence of children ages 4-12 by assessing their logical thinking and cognitive skills.
  • 15. MetaFON Test
    The MetaPHON Test detects difficulties in phonological processing and is used to evaluate and treat language difficulties.
  • 16. Rating Scales for ADHD
    We use specialized scales to assess children with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), providing accurate diagnoses and individualized interventions.
  • 17. SOS-Approach to Feeding (Selective Feeding)
